Sports Unlimited owner Pat Maloney has a long successful history in the business of sports. In 1971 Pat’s parents opened up a 3800 square foot franchise called “Sportsworld” a local community – based sports store. Pat’s participation evolved from part time in 1971 to full time in 1975. In 1974 the Sportsworld franchise was disbanded in favour of forming and becoming part of a larger buying group where stores operated in Brampton, Peterborough, Burlington and Ancaster under the name “Sports Unlimited”.

From day 1 Sports Unlimited has earned the reputation as the only place to go for Baseball and Hockey equipment, repairs and fitting. We provided the products and service that Ball and hockey players deserved. The dedication to team sports has been applied to all of our products and service lines as well as our staff. The industry is prone to high staff turnover, yet Sports unlimited has had a history of commitment to the employees resulting in long tenures with key personnel. Consistent customer service by familiar faces has been one of the cornerstones of the Sports Unlimited experience. Although our retail outlets have closed I still provide expertise and help with your team or league, and corporate requirements. After all we are the supplier of choice for many leagues in the area including Brampton Minor Baseball Inc., Orangeville Minor Baseball, Mississauga Ringette, Brampton Recreational Mixed Slo-Pitch, Central Park Slo-Pitch, Brampton Special Needs and Special Olympics and more!
